The goal of Cornerstone's worship is to lead people into the presence of God. We are called to prophesy with our instruments and voices and be creative and excellent as we lead people to God through our worship.
Below, you will find the steps for our audition process. As you move forward, we would love to hear your experience as a worshipper and how you feel called to use your gifting! If you have questions, please reach out to our team by emailing lapking@cornerstonelife.org.
Audition process
step 1: attend the growth track
We invite you to attend our Growth Track and complete our Serve Team Application. Growth Track consists of three classes and includes how to join a team.
step 2: worship app & video audition
After completing Growth Track and the Serve Team Application, please fill out our Worship Application and submit a video audition to hunter@cornerstonelife.org.
step 3: live audition
If your Worship Application and video audition is approved you will be invited by one of our worship leaders to do an in-person audition. Upon scheduling, they will give you all the information you will need, including song and expectations for your live audition.
step 4: shadow and serve
If you are selected to join the worship team you will be scheduled to shadow a team member. This will give you an opportunity to see our rehearsal process as well as ask any questions you may have to be fully prepared for when you serve. They will also go over the expectations and guidelines found in our Worship Handbook. Once this meeting is complete you will be scheduled to serve.
